This afternoon we had our annual ANZAC service. A huge thank you to Ian and Bill from the RSA for attending our service. It has been a long standing tradition to honour our armed services in this way. Thank you the everyone who brought in flowers and to the parents who arranged these this morning. It is always such a special way to end the term.

Take a look at what the environment group have made today.

These are the traps the Enviro group designed and made over the last two weeks. These are now around the school. They have an ink pad inside with paper to check what footprints we find. We will collect that data graph this and then make traps around the school to catch these little predators.

What great success the gardening group have had with Mrs O so far this year. They have grown watermelons in the glasshouse for the first time and a multitude of pumpkins. Thanks also to Lisa who came in daily in the Christmas holidays to water everything.

Our ANZAC Service is tomorrow in the school hall, followed by a tribute at the cenotaph. If you have any greenery or flowers that you could send to school tomorrow to be made up to leave on the cenotaph we would greatly appreciate all donations to the school hall first thing in the morning. If you are able to stay and help put these together we would love your help. No flower arranging skills required.

NB: this has now changed from a fee to just what you can donate should you wish your child to attend as they wanted to make it more affordable for families.
