Senior Athletics 2017

Ashley School Athletics Friday 27 October 2017

    10.30am to 2.30pm

    Loburn Domain

Once again we will be holding our full school athletic sports at the Loburn Domain. Students 8 years and above,

will be working towards entry to the tri schools event to be held on Thursday 2nd November, also at the Loburn Domain.

Children from 8 to 13 years of age on 1st October, and who achieve at specific standards, will be eligible for entry to the tri schools event.

Buses will take ALL students to Loburn Domain, leaving Ashley School at 9.50am - children take their bags with lunch, drink, hat, sunblock and warm clothing.

We will begin at 10.30am with rotations of 25 minutes until lunch at 12.10pm,

with the afternoon programme going from 12.40pm until 2.30pm when we pack up the area, then leave in cars and buses.

All students will be organised into separate age groups with 12 and 13 year olds joined together. All children must remain with their group throughout the rotations.

Spectators can watch sprints and long distance races from behind the fence along the front of the field, and beside the shed by the long distance starting point - this is where children will spectate from as well.

If parents wish to go and see field events, they must go via the marked ends of the field, AROUND THE MARKED CORNERS for the long distance, ensuring that they are not interfering with any event.

Parents and caregivers please inform teachers by next Tuesday if you will be taking your child home from the sports at the end of the day.
